TAF bei Hepatitis B

TAF ist genauso wirksam wie TDF.
In zwei randomisierten Studien wurde
die Wirksamkeit der neuen Tenofovir-Formulierung TAF 25 mg (Tenefovir
Alafenamid) mit der herkömmlichen Form TDF 300 mg bei chronischer
Hepatitis B verglichen. TAF erwies sich dabei als nicht unterlegen.
Nach 48 Wochen hatten 94% bzw. 93% der HBeAg-negativen Patienten
sowie 64% bzw. 67% der HBeAg-positiven Patienten eine HBV-DNA <29
IU/ml. Erwartungsgemäß hatte TAF einen geringer Einfluss auf die
Nierenfunktion und Knochendichte.
